Get ready to create your own wearable works of art, including pendants, bracelets, earrings, and/ or rings! This class teaches fundamental fabrication techniques using wire and sheet metals; students will cut, drill, saw, file, stamp, solder (or fuse with Argentium in Roberta’s classes), pierce metal, learn polishing techniques, and bezel set a stone. This class will give you both skills and confidence in working with metal! Imagine what you can create! Note: Students will gain a great foundation to create any jewelry design, however, shell jewelry will not be specifically addressed. Some copper and brass sheet metal and wire are included in the supply fee; sterling and Argentium silver are available for purchase.
