Glass Exhibition Exhibition Dates: March 13, 2010 - April 28, 2010 Jurors: KC Stallsmith, Mark Lorenzi, and Will Herrera Hui No`eau Visual Arts Center in association with Maui Glass Artists Association will present the second glass exhibition opening this one to statewide participation. We are challenging all artists to explore this beautiful medium even if you’ve never worked in glass before. We are excited about the work being done in glass in all its’ forms and look forward to presenting the visitor with a unique view into the world of contemporary glass art. Exhibition Kitchen: The Art Show Exhibition Dates: May 8 - July 9, 2010 Jurors: Tom Klobe and Bev Gannon and guest juror Hui No`eau Visual Arts Center is using a very familiar place as the impetus for this exhibition, that takes a playful swerve away from conventional working methods, encouraging unconventional pieces revolving around a theme well-known to all: the kitchen. Artists are asked to challenge themselves in terms of process and medium, to stretch the usual parameters of their art, working with non-familiar materials and tools.
