Hui No’eau Visual Arts Center’s signature fundraising event is here and bolder than ever! Art Affair 2024: Strengthening Community through Color is a two-week fundraiser featuring a variety of ways to support the Hui’s visual arts education programs. Your generosity will allow us to continue to increase access to the arts on Maui – and especially for those who need the arts the most for mental health, healing, and self expression.
Silent Auction: February 26 - March 8—open to all!

MONOCHROMATIC FLORAL DESIGN WITH NOAH HARDERS AND KIRA ROBERTS
The Hui is excited to host Maui floral artists and designers Noah Harders and Kira Roberts to showcase their design skills as they lead participants in a creative and educational monochromatic style floral workshop. In this 4-hour workshop, students will embark on a journey of innovation in our exclusive floral design class that redefines the art of arrangement.
Inspired by the realm of the color wheel, Noah and Kira will take you behind the scenes and teach you the tips, tricks and secrets behind monochromatic designs. This workshop not only teaches you the principles of color grouping but also introduces the use of painted and dyed materials, pushing the boundaries of traditional floral design. Elevate your skills and create floral masterpieces that showcase the epitome of chromatic elegance.
For the second year, these workshops are an integral part of the Hui’s annual fundraising kickoff event “ART AFFAIR 2024: STRENGTHENING COMMUNITY THROUGH COLOR” to be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024.
We are asking students to enjoy their day while they create a lovely floral arrangement to take home and to also continue their practice while they make an arrangement for the Hui’s fundraiser event that will be left onsite for use at the fundraiser on February 24th. All florals, foliage, supplies and necessities will be provided.
