April 1, 2014 NOW ON VIEW in the Hui Gallery: Glass & Metal Art - Come explore an intriguing mix of two media that share a connection through their earthly components, molten forms, and fiery construction! Open daily (10am-4pm) through May 8, Cutting Edge: A Contemporary Glass & Metal Art Exhibition at Hui No‘eau Visual Arts Center showcases new artwork created by a talented community of local artists.

With 54 pieces exhibited from 111 entries, Cutting Edge represents the diversity of artists working in metal or glass in Hawai‘i’s art community. This year, the Hui welcomed jurors Stephen Fellerman (Maui), Michael Mortara (Big Island) and Christine Turnbull (Maui) to select works made in glass. Linda Yamamoto (Oahu) selected works made in metal.
