Kaluanui Centennial: 10x10

Receiving Day: May 17, 2017

Opening Reception: May 26, 5-7pm

When C.W Dickey designed the historic Kaluanui Estate in 1917 for Harry & Ethel Baldwin, he was one of the most celebrated architects of his time. Now, 100 years later, Kaluanui still stands as one of Maui’s most iconic legacy estates still open to the public. Celebrate 100 years of Kaluanui by entering our Centennial 10x10 Exhibition. This exhibition challenges artists to create 2D and 3D works within a defined space of 10”x10”x10”. One hundred pieces will be selected for display in this commemorative exhibition. Receiving Day is May 17, 2017, 9am-4pm.

Mahalo to everyone who submitted work to this exhibition! Artists with non-selected work should plan to pick up their work on Friday, May 19, between 9am and 4pm, as outlined on the prospectus. Artists with selected work: please contact Exhibitions Coordinator Katie Peterson at katiep@huinoeau.com with any spelling corrections. I look forward to seeing you all on a future receiving day and thank you, again, for sharing your creativity with the Hui!
