ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
This prestigious annual exhibition celebrates the diverse and dynamic talents of artists from Maui and beyond, showcasing an inspiring range of work in all media. Each year, a distinguished guest juror brings a fresh perspective, curating a unique collection of art that reflects the latest innovations and explorations in ceramics, printmaking, sculpture, photography, painting, digital media, jewelry, wood, fiber, and more. With no set theme, this exhibition invites artists to submit their most compelling works created within the past two years, highlighting the ever-evolving creativity of our community.

Artwork Receiving Day: Tuesday, January 5 / 9 am – 4 pm
Selection Notification: Wednesday, January 6 by 6 pm via huinoeau.com
Pick up of non-selected work: Thursday, January 7 / 9 am – 4 pm
Pick up of non-sold, selected work: Saturday, February 20 / 9 am – 4 pm
HOW TO ENTER
1. Make sure you have a current Hui membership. To renew or sign up for a membership, please visit huinoeau.com/membership or call 808-572-6560 ext. 22.
2. Complete online registration by MONDAY, Jan. 4th at 12 pm, HST. No exceptions will be made.
Online Registration must be completed PRIOR to dropping off artwork on receiving day
Please confirm Hui membership status prior to beginning the online registration process to ensure proper entry fee payment.
3. Print & fill out artwork labels and attach to the back upper right-hand corner of artwork.
4. Drop off artwork on Tuesday, Jan. 5th from 9 am-4 pm during our drive-through artwork receiving day.

About the Juror
Originally from Southern California, artist and curator Katherine Love has been a resident of Honolulu since 1995. Her recent mixed media works combine wallpaper, fabric, vintage prints, book pages, and greeting cards, with poured and dripped paint to explore the tension and unease within traditional notions of femininity and domesticity.
Love received a BA in Art and Dramatic Art from UC Santa Barbara and an MFA in Art from the University of Hawai‘i, Mānoa. Her work is in the collections of Honolulu Museum of Art, the Hawai‘i State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, and in private and corporate collections in the United States and Europe. Her works have been shown recently in a solo exhibition at Glass Box Gallery, University of California Santa Barbara; University of Hawai‘i Mānoa Art Gallery and Commons Gallery; Kaiao Space, Honolulu, Hawai‘i; and the Kyungin Museum of Fine Art, Seoul, Korea.
Currently serving as Associate Curator of Contemporary Art at Honolulu Museum of Art, she has curated and organized more than 50 exhibitions over the past two decades. Recent projects include Franco Salmoiraghi: Photographs from the 70s, 80s, and 90s; Satoru Abe: Reaching for the Sun; Kenyatta Kelechi: Laulima; Allyn Bromley: At the Edge of Forever; and HoMA’s presentation of Toshiko Takaezu: Worlds Within.
